Back in February, United Voice wrote to Minister for Health and Ambulance Services Cameron Dick, asking that the state government fund and resource a second station in Hervey bay to keep up with growing demand in the community.
Last week, Minister Dick and Maryborough MP Bruce Saunders announced a $3.5million state-of-the-art facility will be builtĀ in the region.
This will be a great asset to the local community, and all the United Voice members who played a role in achieving it should feel proud.
