Mercer Remuneration Inquiry Report

The majority of meetings around the state have concluded and have endorsed the following resolution:

“This meeting endorses United Voice negotiating with the Queensland Ambulance Service for an improved classification structure and increased wage rates, to bring our remuneration to comparable levels with other professionals performing similar work, as identified within the Remuneration Inquiry Report.”

United Voice have issued a formal notice of intention to commence discussions with the QAS as per the resolution put to members at meetings across the state.

It is encouraging to see the level of engagement across the state from United Voice members who are keen to be involved in shaping their future remuneration and classification structure.  This is the first time in over ten years QAS employees will have the opportunity to have an actual say and ultimately a vote about their remuneration and classification structure.
