On Thursday the 12th of October the United Voice negotiating team came together to meet with QAS to finalise the detail of the proposed certified agreement for ambulance employees.
United Voice Queensland is happy to report that we are now in a position to move towards the formal consultation and balloting process for all employees to have their say on the Union negotiated collective agreement.
With approval given by State government for this process to move forward we are about to see wage parity with other states and an enhanced classification structure delivered for Queensland Ambulance employees.
There will be formal consultation sessions in the coming weeks where your Union will participate and be on hand to answer any questions you may have prior to voting on this package.
As always if you have any questions of an individual nature be sure to make contact with your LASN State Councillor or United Voice officials.
As mentioned in previous updates the outcomes achieved in this proposed agreement are due to the hard work of your United Voice delegates and industrial team who have given countless hours of their own time to achieve the best possible outcomes for the next three years. This work continues while the final stages of this process unfold.
More detailed information will be forthcoming around the timing of the consultation sessions and ballot process.
