As reported in our last bulletin, now that we have reached agreement around the proposed certified agreement, QAS have a legislative obligation to inform staff about the content of the proposed agreement prior to the content going to a ballot of employees.
Part of this includes providing all relevant employees with reasonable access to the proposed agreement for a minimum of 14 days prior to the commencement of voting.
The purpose is to ensure that you have made an informed decision when voting on this proposed agreement.
The agreement was posted on des-portal last week. To access it, go to QAS portal page in the HR tab >> Acts, Awards and Agreements section.
In addition, certified agreement information sessions are being held around the state. United Voice delegates and/or officials will be in attendance where possible to assist with any questions arising from the presentation.
