Site visits are continuing with the roll out of the remuneration report summary presentation.
There has been a great turnout this week to meetings at Murgon and Agnes Waters with members feeling very optimistic towards the information arising from the report.
Members have eagerly endorsed the resolution directing United Voice negotiating with QAS for an improved classification structure and increased wage rates.
State Council have reported a positive vibe from members out on the ground.
At the time of writing, QAS have not received authority to negotiate from State Government. Over the next few weeks officials and delegates will continue to visit sites. Once there has been movement through the State Government CBRC Treasury process and the negotiation team meets with QAS, United Voice will engage and have members involved in feedback around discussion with QAS to reach agreement around the process to implement the findings from the Remuneration Report.
