Queensland’s turn for Work Value and Remuneration Inquiry

United Voice members in Victoria had an incredible win when it was recently announced that a work value adjustment of between 12-28% in addition to annual wage adjustments was to be implemented. This was a fantastic outcome for Victorian ambulance officers but now it’s time for action here in Queensland to win you and your colleagues the remuneration you deserve.

Queensland ambulance officers are currently the lowest paid in the country, it needs to change! This is why your union, United Voice, has called for an urgent meeting with the Health Minister to demand a comprehensive inquiry examining the remuneration provided to Queensland ambulance officers, with a key focus on work value and a comparison with relevant employees performing work of a similar nature.

United Voice has its best legal and industrial relations experts working on this but if Queensland is to have an outcome like that in Victoria everyone needs to stand strong and stand together.
