Now that the State Government has signed off on it’s support of the Remuneration Inquiry the real work begins. To ensure that you and all United Voice members get the best outcome from this process we have increased resources to our ambulance team, adding two new faces.
Having a strong and robust team will allow us to ensure United Voice members get the input they deserve into the Inquiry process. Please welcome Jason Stanbridge and David Brook.
Jason is a long standing United Voice member and a strong believer in the power of union. Before joining United Voice as an organiser Jason spent a number of years as a delegate in the Aged Care sector where with the support of United Voice he helped drive many important changes in his workplace that resulted in wins for him and his colleagues. “I have great respect for the members of QAS and I am excited about the opportunity to work with them to achieve the value and conditions they deserve,” said Jason.
Like Jason, David has a long history of union activism. He spent a number of years as a delegate for the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union (AMWU) before moving into an Organiser role where he stayed for 5 years before joining United Voice. “I look forward to working with QAS members and delegates to achieving more power in the workplace and gain the respect they deserve,” said David.
