Yesterday, your arbitration hearing resumed at the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission after the hearing day on Wednesday was postponed because one of the Commissioners was unavailable.
Executive Manager of Clinical Standards & Quality at Queensland Ambulance Service, Sean Mutchmor was cross examined by our legal team about the clinical practice manual. The questioning focused mainly on the skills and procedures associated with CPM.
Acting CFO at the Department of Community Services, Fiona Burbidge was also cross examined and re- asserted the department’s budgetary position.
Kroy Day, one of United Voice’ witnesses also gave evidence in relation to meal overtime penalties and the current roster arrangements. His cross- examination will resume today and other United Voice witnesses will also take the stand. A further hearing date is scheduled for next Friday August 30th.
